Hey! So Glad You're Here.
As a wife, mother of four grown children, and grandmom to six amazing grandchildren, my life is full of love, laughter, and just the right amount of holy chaos. Even in the midst of it all, I have always found deep joy in helping others uncover their God-given potential and develop the dreams He has placed in their hearts.
With a bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science from Wilmington University, a Life Coach Certificate from CaPP (Coaching and Positive Psychology Institute), and a Christian Life Coach Certificate from Light University of the American Association of Christian Counselors, I have come to deeply value the power of guidance, encouragement, and intentional growth.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of facilitating book studies and vision board workshops in churches, in the workplace, and within the writing community. I also lead a special annual writers retreat breakout session called Built to Write Vision Board Workshop, where I help writers seek God’s direction for their creative journey. In addition, I have contributed devotionals to The Secret Place devotional booklets.
One of the most meaningful seasons of my life came in 2025, when I retired from social work and published my first book, Built to Last: A Spiritual Training Guide for Strength, Purpose, and Impact. That message continues to shape my coaching. Through my Built to Last approach, I encourage women to build their lives on the truth of God’s Word and strengthen what He is forming in them through daily practice, spiritual growth, and purposeful living. My heart is to help women become spiritually and mentally strong, not by striving in their own strength, but by building on a firm foundation.
When I’m not writing, reading, or preparing a workshop, you can usually find me enjoying a cozy movie, spending time with family, or creating gluten-free recipe boards on Pinterest.
This blog is one of the spaces where I share encouragement, coaching insight, and practical truth to help you keep building strength through truth and practice. You can also find me on Facebook at Lillian Baker | Built to Last Christian Coaching, where I share coaching tips, inspiration, and little glimpses of life along the way.
